It’s late and I’m sleepy, and here’s a thing.

There was no going back now. A little while ago, she might’ve been able to back out or make up some excuse, find some reason not to do it or not to do it today, anyway. It would’ve been nice, just being able to put it aside until a time when her eyelids weren’t drooping and her brain wasn’t mush. But that ship had sailed. There was nothing left to do now but take a deep breath, and get it done. After all, she had already crossed it off of her to-do list.
