Double Trouble in April: The Blogging from A to Z Challenge

Since I will have quite a bit of spare time in April I’ve decided to participate in a second writing challenge alongside Camp NaNoWriMo, namely the Blogging from A to Z Challenge! The challenge is pretty much exactly what it sounds like: you blog from a to z. You do this in April and you make one post per day (except Sundays), leaving you with 26 posts in total, one for each letter in the English alphabet. You post alphabetically, so on the 1st day you post about a topic beginning with the letter A, on the 2nd with B, on the 3rd with C etc. I’ve never done a challenge like this before but I think it sound like a lot of fun, and I look forward to trying it. I’ve already started brainstorming for which topics to write about under which letters. I’d like to have a full list before the month starts, even if I end up changing my mind and replacing some of the topics as I go.

If you’re a blogger and you like a challenge, I encourage you to try this! The challenge organizers are also very encouraging of interaction between participants, so it can be a good way of meeting new people and gaining some new readers for your blog.

Oh, and finally, a thank you to Freya Robertson for letting me know this challenge existed, as I’d never heard about it before.
