Last night, I came home from my office’s Christmas dinner at midnight, somewhat drunk. I opted to not blog and instead go to bed, so tonight I have a 2-in-1 post for you: two awesome, but very different, webcomics.
Agents of the Realm by Mildred Louis is a really fun, modern take on the magic girl genre. I only recently discovered it and have only read the first chapter (and not even met most of the characters in the picture above), but I get the feeling it’ll be a favorite! I’ve always liked the aesthetics and concept of magic girl stories, but I often find them to be a bit hard to relate to, character-wise. Not so here! Art style is awesome, too.

Oh Joy Sex Toy by Erika Moen is a different beast entirely. I want to say first of all that this website is very NSFW (it has cartoon sex, and also some actual nudity in banner ads) so keep that in mind when you visit. This comic is very focused on sex, and primarily consists of two things: sex toy comic-reviews and comics discussing issues related to sex such as birth control, consent, oral sex technique and much more. It’s drawn in a lovely style with a very diverse range of figures present, and overall is a very thoughtful comic with a lot of wisdom in between the cartoon private parts. I recommend it!
